"Trinity is a privately-owned, Mitchelin starred, neighbourhood restaurant situated in the heart of Clapham Old Town.
When we started out, way back in 2006, our self set mission was to serve great food. it has to be seasonal, inspirational and, above all, delicious.
Over eleven years later and our priorities have not changed one single bit. While we are the proud holders of one Michelin Star and numerous accolades – their motivation is as it has always been, to continuously provide guests our with a memorable gastronomic experience.
Upstairs, they aptly named restaurant space situated above Trinity – offers our guests a casual dining space to complement Trinity that is well suited for private functions and larger groups. As well as being available for reservations and exclusive hires, Upstairs at Trinity proudly plays host to a variety of exciting events and special evenings for our guests to enjoy" ~ Adam (Head Chef of Trinity)

Above, quoted is the best way to summarised this distinguished restaurant.
Upon walking in we were greeted by some of the most enthusiastic staff I’ve met. Our server in particular was happy to help with everything, be it picking out a wine, explaining the menu or just finding the toilet, his service was immaculate. His excitement towards the food only boosted our own excitement and anticipation as anyone who cares so much about their work place must truly feel that the restaurant is one of true quality.
I can honestly say that my starter of ‘Beef Tartare, Pickled Mushrooms, Oscietra Caviar’ was worth the £10 supplement ten times over. I have never tasted anything close to the quality of this dish before or after.
The second dish I choose was the ‘Crispy Pigs Trotters, sauce Gribiche and Crackling’ the presentation was immaculate once again and with flavour to match, although nothing compared to the starter this course was outstanding leaving me scraping the plate once again.

The third course and final of the savoury dishes was the steak from the Lake District this was served with a braised shallot. Showing just how good a simple pairing can be, not overly complicated the dish still impressed. My only comment was that it was slightly over peppered to my taste. However, I feel this is more of a personal preference than a criticism of the dish.

For the final course I chose the black forest dessert. Beautiful presentation again, it was paired well with the cherry sorbet and chantilly. This provided the perfect end to the meal, and feeling completely full and satisfied both from the food and from the quality of the service this has definitely become one of my, if not my, favourite restaurant which I hope to return to in the near future.
